As a goalkeeper, he is the most trusted player in the team as he is the last line of defence for the team on the field.
He is 22 and graduated with his history B.A from University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas in December 2011.
Alex has kept himself active through his entire schooling from playing Lacrosse to golf, from swimming to tennis. No matter what sport Alex has participated in, he has reached high standards of play, achieving awards and honours in each sport, even coaching at certain levels and more recently, he trained and practised as a professional tennis coach for two years before making the 400 mile move to his first sport of soccer as a professional goalkeeper in Galveston, Texas.
In an NPSL season that spans from May to July, Alex has excelled in the matches already played.

26th May 22 shots faced, 1 goal conceded 2-1 victory
2nd June 31 shots faced, 5 goals conceded 5-0 defeat

As well as currently training three times weekly with his present team, he attends the local gym a further two times a week and heads out to the practice fields with fellow team member and striker, to gain some addition on field practice to help hone his skills between the sticks.
His fitness is second to none and his agility is unequalled in his current squad.
Alex would like the opportunity to further his playing career by joining a higher level team in a professional league in Europe. He is willing to relocate at a moments notice should the chance occur for him and welcomes enquiries with offers of trials, tryouts or short term contracts.
You will not meet a more dedicated individual and his desire to succeed is infectious. His sole goal is to become a professional soccer player and will stop at nothing to reach his goal.
He has an approachable manner and continually strives to better himself by listening to more experienced players and taking on board any constructive criticism.
